lather pitch

A new invention, Artificially Intelligent soap, that scrapes off more than it lathers. An evil empire hoping to market the one thing that we take for granted, cleanliness.

A writer and his family settle down in a tiny town in the outskirts of New York City. After having difficulties writing, his wife suggests that he get a job, something consistent and more finance driven. After a slew of interviews, he finds a job that suits him, a writing position from a laboratory located in New York. Pretty much accepting the job right away, and without much information, he is driven to home and to work everyday. Until he's seen too much. enough to send major players of the lab, the shareholders in denial. The product, soap. Artificially Intelligent soap that guides itself over the consumer’s body and rinses them clean. The test trials seem well, until a young boy is reduced into smoldering flesh in front of a room of lab technicians and investors. However, the company decides to sell the soap and hide the deadly effects from the public until its shareholders are satisfied, since the lab's previous owners suffered brutal losses in the markets. The only witness bold enough to make a difference is our writer. He's seen the truth and a jury tries to stop his will to provide reality to the consumers before it's too late. Once the product has been marketed, everything seems fine until people, and their skin cells, begin to turn to gelatin as if they were living, breathing, skinned consumers. How far will the company go to pay off its mistakes? Is money more important than life? The writer is determined to save his family and help those in need. But, it may already be too late.
