when you mime

there's a time
when you mime
there's the time
if you mind

now sit back
and let me tell you a story
bout the wonderful onyx
bare down to his last dying breath

we struggled for hours
in the ocean so deep
mysterious landing
what could I creep

I walked on the water
I fell back hard
my neck hurts in pain
while im begging to sober up

you want all my soul
to munch at lunchtime
taking those tablets you take
might make you awake

theres a song bird
in the ruins of Maine
this song bird does play
every minute of the day

there's a time
when you mime
there's the time
if you mind

come with me
ashore, my lady luck
don't leave me alone
i am afraid of the muck

you are so lucky
you eat all my food
i want to strive far
to get where you are

now wipe the tears
and come back to me
be gentle forever
please come back to me

my skull has lost his eyes
no teeth and no skin
i perish away
into the great beyond

there's a time
when you mime
there's the time
if you mind

now repeat after me
all lassies and wenches
revolution is fast
we got the boat of the masses

while its another time on land
theres the time of the ship
we follow this time
and we do not commit

on land, our babies
waiting for us to get home
i wanna see my grandson
cause this war is a bore

does this make sense?
are you listening to me?
my soul has fallen
into the pits of all call-in

I got fire and brimstone
for my wake
the captain is back
from the depths of the H

climb that canon
do what's what
attack that boat
we're getting scurvy tonight

there's a time
when you mime
there's the time
if you mind
